EAD & AP Approval time at Nebraska center

I e-filed for EAD/AP renewal at NSC. This was my 4th renewal at NSC, but I always e-filed, and hence unaware of the term "processing center".

I am guessing he meant "Service Center". If your USCIS case number starts with

1) SRC - Texas Service Center (formerly Southern Regional Center),
2) LIN - Nebraska Service Center (named after Lincoln, NE),
3) WAC - California Service Center (formerly Western Adjudication Center) and
4) EAC - Vermont Service Center (formerly Eastern Adjudication Center).

recieved combo cards on 7/10 i.e. 25 days.

Still cant believe. no photos required, no RFE, nothing.

Self - EAD/AP renewal e-filed NSC on 4/19/12 - combo card received 5/16/12 (Less than 30 days)
Wife - EAD renewal e-filed NSC 5/21/12 - Approved 7/16/12 (card not yet received) ((Less than 60 days)

Filed combo card on Aug 20th. Got the card on 28th September valid for two years. I filed electronically.

I think it helps, If you save that mailer they send you and send it along when you renew. It makes it faster.

I got answers from our members on some questions. I have some other questions on USCIS e-filing account registration. Could anyone clarify the following questions?


I need to e-file(renew) my daughter's EAD. I am not applying at this time. I plan to register account on my name and file application for my daughter.

1) In the account registration form filing status field has 2 values INDIVIDUAL/REPRESENTATIVE. I think I should pick INDIVIDUAL.
Is this right?
2) Signature of the person preparing the form, If other than above:
I need to sign here. Is this right?

I efiled my wife's EAD on 9/16. Sent supporting docs on 9/23. Her case status was updated today that Card Production has been ordered. 15 days from filing to approval.

Thought this might be helpful for somebody.

I e-filed for my AP renewal with Nebraska Svc Center on 11/9/13. I mailed out my supporting documents today (11/14/13) so as to reach the USCIS office by tomorrow(11/15/13).

I will update this thread, as soon as I receieve any update on my AP renewal petition.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any edit to go back and edit my post. My correct dates are,

e-filed on: 1/9/13
Sent documents on: 1/14/13
USCIS should receive documents by: 1/15/13

I will update here, when I get some update from USCIS.

USCIS at Nebraska received by AP filing and supporting documents on 01/15 and today, 01/25, I see an approval email on my inbox. They took roughly 10 days to make a decision. That is pretty impressive. The case details on the USCIS site says this,

"On January 25, 2013, your I131, APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT was approved. You will be notified of the decision by mail. Please check our website at USCIS Home Page for further updates on your case, including when the approval notice is mailed."

I received my AP in my mailbox on 02/02/13, exactly 8 days after my case was approved by USCIS.

Hopefully, this information helps someone, who is anxiously waiting for his AP for whatever purpose.
