I am planning to use AC21 to join Deloitte, I told them I use EAD but I haven't heard anything back from them yet? Do they encourage people with EAD?

EAD is pretty simple and straight forward comparing to the paper work and fee involved with H1B transfer. They just need to file I-9 form for you. So, any company which hires H1B holders definitely will not have any problem in hiring people with EAD.

Once you get the offer, you can join even on the next day (no waiting period like receipt of H1B transfer document).

What are the real risks and remote risks of giving up H1B visa and moving on using EAD?

Is it just a myth propagated by attorneys that H1B is "much" safer than EAD so that they get more money from you (at least $1000)?

I will be out of work soon - due to "involuntary job separation." I need to know, please.

I won't worry too much about maintaining H1, almost all my friends who switched to EAD (some of them have green cards already) say they have never heard of some one who had to go back to H1.

If you have to wait for 8 years to get GC, its better to be on H1 instead of EAD. We will never know what will happen to the GC with lot of hurdles.

If the GC has been filed under EB3 as a Consultant and the employee has moved up to Manager over time, does Deloitte consider inter-filing from EB3 to EB2?

I currently work for Deloitte but I am considering moving to Accenture using EAD. Anyone here from Accenture? Would you be able to share your experience with Accenture on EAD. I have not used EAD yet, so I have lot of concerns. So any information you could share about Accenture will be very helpful. Thanks!

Would you still have patience to go through the same process and start over from scratch if you are denied once and that too after 8 years?
