Default PD current, joined new employer on AC21

My PD was current from Oct 1st. I joined new employer on Oct 3rd and they filed AC21 on Oct 24th. I dont see any movement in my pending 485. I asked my company's immi attorney. He says dont contact USCIS. Lets wait for 3-4 weeks and we will contact them. Should I wait for him? What is the experts recommendation please.

I would follow your attorney's advice. Given 3 to 4 weeks is not that much of a wait, so listen to your companies attorney and follow up with them

I think the reason your attorney mentioned to wait and see is if USCIS contacts you to show employment verification etc then the law firm would file AC21 or else if you get ur GC then there is no need to file AC21. In USCIS land, things go slow so even if your PD is current it would take a month or so to see any movement.

Thanks. But, attorney said that they already have filed AC21. I thought atleast with that LUD has to change! I didnt see that changing at all.
