GC for future employment
GC is for future employment and once it is approved- you have to work for the sponsoring employer.
AC21 can be used only if your 485 has been pending for > 6m( need seniors to verify).If your PD is <Mar 08 - 485 likely to be approved in under 6 months - hence AC21 may not apply

Unless otherwise the company A did not revoke/withdrew I-140, you should be able to file I-485.
Remember that Green Card is a future employment... Again, Always get advice from legal...
