< 180 days of I-485. Got EAD. Employer closing down the site

Dear folks,

My priority date became current in Feb'2011 and filed for I-485 in Feb'2011.
I got EAD just this week ie. about 45 days from the date of application of I-485.
So far so good but my employer has decided to close the site by the end of Apr'11 and asked me(in fact every one) to look for the new job by then.

My questions is since I got the EAD and my employer himself asking me to leave before completion of 180 days(I'm still willing to work for him but...) from I-485, Is it okay to move to another company either on H1 or EAD? Would this anyway invalidate my I-485 application?

Any thoughts on what are the best options for my situation?
