Default AC21. what if no job offer when get RFE

-on AC21, if you get rfe and say you dont have job offer right that time, how much time do you get to reply to that RFE? Is it 90 days standard.
- Is it possible to find a job offer during the time you have incase you dont have job offer when you get RFE on AC21?
-If job offer is not similar/same according to USCIS, wuld they deny or NOID? would there be given a second chance to find another offer?

it is a nightmare situation and I guess no one has the answers ... most of us had this fear when we were in this situation I guess.
the answers look like this to me 1) yes 2) yes 3) depends ..my advice would be - don't worry ...think about crossing the bridge when you come to the bridge and be prepared for the worst but hope for the best ..in many cases people did get GC even though they were not employed at all !!

You need to have a "job offer" at the time when your 485 comes for approval. Till then you are good.

Thanks Hiralal and Robert.

I agree that it is nightmare but nonetheless possible situation. Seems if you are really unlucky your date can become current right then and you can RFE right when you lost your job, all can happen say within 1 week. Then you have practically 50 days to get job offer and letter.

I did talk to attorney advice and he said that he has not seen any AC21 denied or RFE other than ones that had I140 revoked. So a bit assuring.

Another question:If SOC, salary, etc matches but job description is different, would that still be similar job.
