Post Medical Tests in India for I-485
Hello,

My wife and kids are in India and would be here on August 14th. I am afraid that there would be no enough time to do the medical tests in order to apply their I-485s before the deadline of August 17th. My question is could they get the medical tests done in India.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If I were you, I'd bring them back ASAP... I mean really ASAP.. Sometimes medical takes a long time depending on TB test. It took 10 days for me to get the reports back.

I am afraid you can't do that. The tests have to be thrugh a USCIS aprooved doctor. What you can do though is to get an appointment for 14th for your family. In the mean time get everything ready and forward to your lawyer so she can work on the case and has everything else ready.

Best case...get them here asap

Physical presence is required to file I 485 for your wife and kids. They have to be here in US at the time of filing. Ask them to come back to US ASAP.
