Yes, wait for an RFE and do what they ask you to do in that RFE.

Ask your lawyer. I agree, be proactive and if there is a way you can send the results and file it with your case, do it. Any case medicals are valid for 12-18 months, so if an RFE comes, You can send them same ones again. Again, not sure if you can do this, ask your lawyer.

We had to go through the same situation. If you have registered for online notifications then you will get an email about the RFE. The actual letter reaches the lawyer around 7 days after the RFE was generated. So you have enough time to complete the medical tests once you get the RFE email and then submit the response immediately when you get the letter.
The only thing is that USCIS sends back the original medical form along with the letter and asks the doctor to update that form. Hope this helps.

This is what my attorney replied to a similar question.
------------------------------------------ From: Attorney Your wife could get the shots now and hold on to the evidence and then we will submit it when we get the RFE. She could wait for the RFE but then if she has become pregnant again...... so best to get the evidence now and we can just hold on to it. ----------------------------------------- Hope this helps.

Thanks to the other members who replied too.. could you please tell me where do I sign up for those online notifications? |

pardon me for the confusion. When I meant online notification I meant the USCIS case status service page at https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

I am in same situation and had a meeting with my attorney to get more information, according to his experience with all his cases to date, he said there is 70 - 30 ratio, 70% have recieved rfe and 30% got approved without rfe. And after july fiasco he said it's better to wait for rfe and respond rather then ammending 485 application, now that's another question that my attorney will easily make it to top 10 list of all time worst attorneys. So I am looking for second opinion too.

![]() i am now of the opinion of doing the remaining parts and holding on to them to be ready whenever they send the RFEs.. no point trying to save some money and risk wasting a window of action when temporarily becoming current. |

Cool, so thats it, its best to wait for an rfe and respond when you recieve it, if at all
