Default USCIS Civil Surgeons - Experiences and Cost

Lot of people are looking for cost and references for Good USCIS doctors (those who dont want to rip of the immigrants)
This thread could be a master thread will all the required information.
I saw at least 2 thread one requesting info on texas, and another for california, which were just posted today.

So if you had a good/bad experience with a dr, pls mention it here , with the cost for physical, TB Test Cost , Syphilis Test Cost , X Ray Cost (If done), Vaccinations Cost.

I think our insurances may cover vaccinations, and test like Quantiferon-TB Gold (part of preventative yearly examinations), which should help us save some money at the civil surgeon. Pls mention that , if you used your insurance to get any tests/vaccinations.

Default natwarlal chowlera astoria nyc

i had a positive experience with dr. natwarlal chowlera last week. he is not too far from nyc. got an appointment the very next day. his office is not busy at all and they seemed to know the procedure well and were very helpful. he charged me $170 for single person. used my insurance for blood test and chest xray. he gave me the td vaccine. for varicella vaccine i went to NYC Health Dept where you can get all the vaccines for free (offices are in fort green, bronx and queens). Seach for NY Bureau of Immunization to get the locations and hours.

Can you please post the list of Vaccines and tests you took and sequence if applicable. I have browsed on USCIS site but I couldn't understand the right set of tests.

I found following article helpful ...which lists all vaccinations along with a table which shows whether applicants need a particular vaccine..

I recently went for the vaccinations and the civil surgeon administered TBskin test, Tetanus, flu shot and MMR vaccines. Since I already had a history of chicken pox, he didn't administer that. Total cost was $242. Let me know If others were also given same vaccines.

rpr is for syphilis testing ..

i thought only 1 mmr is needed for healthy adults to complete the series...

Dr. Allen R Edwards, Hart Industrial Clinic
2850 Tate Boulevard, S.E., Hickory, NC 28602

$450 for complete physical without insurance

I talked to my immigration lawyer and got it for $100 elsewhere without insurance. Stay away from civil surgeons around rural towns, or in places like the south east where there is a lot of hostility towards immigrants.

I am in New York. I got the medical exam done for $230, all the vaccines and flu shot are including.

But the nurse didn't get my weight, height or do any examination such as, blood pressure and eye version test, ect. I just walked in the clinic and got the shots. Then I picked up the report in 2 days. That's it. Is it normal??
