Hi Guys,

I was wondering if there was a way to find out the status of the Fingerprinting NOT FROM THE FBI but from the USCIS.

The reason I ask is, that I had to go a second time coz the first time the FBI could not read the prints. I want to find out from the USCIS if everything is OK now.

Should I call the USCIS or just wait? Does anyone have any experience in this area?

Strange - even I have to go again on Nov 9 again after I finished the FP on Oct 13. The strange thing is, the second FP notice was issued even before I showed up for the appointment. I do not believe that it was a reading issue (how on earth can anyone predict that they cannot read the FP even before it could be obtained).

Monkeyman,
I think you should call up USCIS ask why they have issued one more FP appoitment.In our case we are going second time not because there is something wrong in FP but we made an enquire about not getting FP appoitment. but within couple days we got our appoitment latter but since we enquired about FP appoitment they will send one more FP appoitment letter. and this time we just have show them our FP done recipt and need not do FP reading agian .

This makes sense.... So I will be getting a new FP appointment notice again.. I am in the sae boat I enquired abot fp not getting. But then attorney got a copy and we went and got our FP done.. Yesterday online status says they mailed a document...
