Experience - Finger Print Process

Guys,

Today I had FP appiontment at ASC-Dallas at 12:00 PM. My experience is as under.

1) We(1+3) reached there at 11:35 AM. Security Guard asked about
appointment time and I said 12:00 PM and his reply then come at 12:00
PM. Seeing all chairs empty in the hall I requested to wait there and he
said NO So we waited out in our car till 11:55 AM

2) We again went in and then he took FP receipts and passports. He verified
each of us by giving us a glance and comparing the photo in the passport.

3) Then he gave us the forms to be filled in, passports back and kept ASC
notices with him. I filled up the forms and after proper verification I
returned back them to him. Then he Put a Biometric stamp on all ASC
notices and give me back A)ASC Notice B)Filled form 3) Tag (Queue No.)
per applicant. Then we waited for our turn.

Major fields of the form:

1) Last Name
2) First Name
3) Birth Place
4) Gender
5) Race
6) Height ( Do not have column for width )
7) Weight in lbs
8) color of eyes
9) color of hair
10) Country of citizenship
11) A number ( FP notice has this number)
12) Receipt Number ( LIN and/or SRC number, Note: FP notice has this
number)
13) Social Security Number

Note: I (H1B)have my SSN memorized. Now after getting EAD I applied
for SSN for my family and all of them received their SSN before
finger printing. Now during FP appintment I did not take copy of
SSN with me but fortunately I memorized my family's SSNs so I
could write down. So my suggestion is that if you get SSN for
(H4) and yet have not memorized those new SSN then take
copy of SSN with you during FP appointment.

15) Current Address
16) Phone

4) There were 2 FP machines and 2 persons assigned to those
machines.Upon our turn we gave our finger prints (Adult: Cleaning and
then 8 fingers simulataneously + each finger separately with cleaning
first then rotation + 2 Thumbs with cleaning and rotation, Child(<14):
cleaning and finger printing of 2 index fingers only).

5) After finger printing guy took us our electronic signature (Children (<14)
too)

6) Then he took photograph and verify with us the quality of photo
graph.Once we said o.k. He went ahead finishing his work related with FP
on the computer. Then he fillled the detail in Biometric stamp on
the ASC Notice and returned back the ASC Notice to keep with us. Then
he gave us one survey form per person to fill up which was regarding the
service of USCIS. We mentioned "Excellent" (Do not shoot me) I verified
whether we were done or not. He said you are done and we left the ASC
office.

Note: It was 12:35 PM when We came out of ASC center

Btw, I was at the Dallas ASC at the exact same time you mentioned
My appointment was at 1, but showed up at 12. They let me in and I was out by 12:30pm.

So now we have seen each other and know IV handles too. Your children were cute.. Have you become a member of Texas IV group yet?

I wasn't with kids. Did you go to the ASC on Marsh/Loop12 ? Or Westmoreland?
Btw, I see LUD on my I-485 now. => 3 hours after fingerprinting.

Westmoreland. In that case you should have been at Marsh/Loop12. I also found my LUD changed. I checked at 2:30 PM and it was not changed. At 3:30 PM it was changed. So it takes 3 hours to have LUD update after FP. For me just LUD changed. content inside remains same.
