Infopass Appointment?

Can we take an appointment with infopass to check to see the name check is cleared and finger prints process is done from FBI? did anyone done this?

My FP was done 3 weeks ago but there is no update ononline status.

One can take an infopass appt for checking name check is cleared or not for FBI one can also call - 304-625-5590

This phone number not for name check clearance. They don't give this info...

There are many people who have had their FP done and yet there in no LUD on their online statuses.....Can you tell us why you want to find out the info ? Have you received your EAD/AP too ??

I have received EAD, Not AP yet, I have done my FP on 10/17/07, there is no update on online status.i called FBI, they said same day they sent the FP results to USCIS. how to check the Namecheck status?can we get the Infopass to check the status of namecheck?

but, the cases status shows no changes...wonder what is that supposed to mean..

for some people, LUD changes multiple time (3-4 times) without any visible change in status. Reason is they have only 3 or 4 hard coded major statuses and if ur case encounters one of those statuses, you get an email (if you are setup) and see that status online. All other LUDs are just someother changes which are not major and non-required to know accoording to USCIS

* Note on "Last Updated" date:
Your case may have a new "Last Updated" date and you may receive an Email Notification of your case being updated, without the status of the case changing. This is due to internal USCIS processing being performed on your Case. This will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date, but may not result in a different status message

Where to check LUD ..is it just going to USCIS online case status and giving your case#?

Use this https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp and create a CUSTOMER account, add your receipt number to portfolia - you will see the LUD

Yes. Also you can register using your case#,you will receive email on your case update.

How do we know the Fingerprint/name check status. The Receipt number on FP notice is same as the 485 number.So when we check for the LUD, it actually shows the 485 and not FP.Please correct me.Thanks

I filed my i485/EAD/AP in april 2007 and I did my FP on 05/23/07 and there was no LUD on my app after that. I called up uscis nebraska folks about it two times, first in Aug 07 and the IO did not utter a single sensible word out of his mouth and then in Oct 2007 and the lady officer was kind enough to say that your security reviews are pending. When asked about the FP and no update after that, she mentioned don't worry they are there in system.
