can I enter into US with 1 week valid visa(H1-b) stamping & with h1 extension

Hi everyone, appreciate if someone can pls clarify..

I have valid H1 stamping till Feb 19th 2008, I am going to India in Dec and planning to come back on Feb 9th 2008. (before my visa expires)

I am applying for my h1 extension (using premium processing) and should get my 3yr extension before I go to India.

I will have only 10 days validity on my visa stamping, and h1 extension till 2011. Can I enter into US without any issues? or do I need to go for visa stamping in India? Pls clarify..

Technically speaking, Yes You can enter with 1 week validity of visa.

I have entered into US with 1 month validity on my visa stamping.

hi, I entered this year jun, with 10 days visa validity, if the officer asks about it, just say that my employer will take care to extend your visa. good luck..enjoy ur vacation!!

you are safe, especially since you will havw ext approval with you. Remeber to present the new approval at POE so that you get I-94 till 2011 and dont have to apply for extension

i once entered US before 2 days of H1 stamping expiry i.e. visa validality but i had extension in my hand for another 2 yrs while entering but not stamped.
