Default Query on US-Ind flight via Frankfurt (not an RFE)

[I apologize for starting a non-immigration related thread on this personal question.] I am trying to quickly book a US-India Lufthansa flight via Frankfurt for June travel, and the one I am looking at gives me 2-hr stopover (+30mins for boarding) at FRA in between connections, in the same terminal, on the return leg of the trip. My question to those of you who recently traveled via FRA is whether 2-hr is long enough to make the connection. I haven't had such a trip in a while, and not up-to-date with any additional (passport/immigration) verification procedure at this airport. I do know FRA does not require a transit visa.

Thanks a bunch for your time.

Cheers,
stuck

as per my experience, 2 hours is more than enough to make the transition (assuming there aren't delays) at any airport (assuming there aren't flight delays).

Default More than enough

I recently traveled (2 weeks ago) via Frankfurt to India and back from Dallas. It is more than enough time. Also Lufthansa does a good job of on-time arrivals and departures. I would say it should not be a problem at all.

Cheers!

This is regarding status, if GC or CITIZEN there should not be any problem. If its H1B visa, then it should have validity. Means H1B visa should not have expired. I heard this story from my brother in law and in fact travel agents know this and they themselves advice on this. Those with expired H1B visa cannot travel through EUROPE. So my brother in law went to India through middle east.

CHECK OUT BASED ON YOUR STATUS.

Thanks

Interesting thought I will share with you (maybe in the "Lighten up" thread) if something witty pops in my head.

Thank you, Rangan, for your input. I guess you are thinking of transit visa. Yes, many European airports require such a visa if H1 folks have an expired stamp on their passports. My travel agent assured me I do not need this visa at FRA (I have GC).

Changed the title - better now? Unfortunately it does not show up where it matters (in the list of "Recent Forum Posts")

No problem using AP through germany. I travelled in Jan 2009. No issue whatsoever. No one bothered to check any document.

This is not true. If you have AP, no problem. My wife was traveling in Dec-08 with no visa stamp in passport. No body checked for it, either in US or germany and no one asked for any transit visa or even AP.
