Congrats!! I hope I receive mine soon. Ours was sent on 10/16 and received on 10/19 at NSC. Receipt date is 10/19. Just like yours there were soft LUDS on 11/12 and 11/13, but the case status still remains Initial Review. Keeping my fingers crossed. Traveling on the 28th of this month. Wish me luck... Thanks for the update though makes me feel more hopeful that mine could be approved soon. |

Congrats to those who received their approval.....
Just called USCIS customer service, and was told that even the processing time for Nebraska is listed as 3 months, but from their internal database, the actual date shown as of today is July 30th. Can't believe they are taking more than 3 months to process an AP renewal...... anyway, I did a finger print about 2 years ago after I filed for my I485, and dont remember doing the finger print for my previous AP. Do you think that i need to do finger print for this AP renewal this time? Thanks in advance. |

A quick question. I have an AP which expires in Feb'10. I am traveling on vacation during Dec'09. My attorney is asking me to apply for the next AP right now. Is it OK to process the next AP when you are out of the country on the current AP ?
I read somewhere in the forums that New AP issued becomes invalid if the person is out of the country. Thanks |

I followed up today with another INfopass, since I hadn't received the approval yet. I guy at the center checked the status of my previous service rquest which I had initiated on 11/10 and the response was " they are unable to expedite my case as it is currently under official review". I have no idea what that actually means. In the mean time while everyone is getting their AP in a few weeks, mine seems to be stuck. They haven't asked for any evidence of information and the case status remains "Initial Review".
Anybody had a similar experience before? |

We applied for AP in October and the application reached USCIS on Oct 19th. I see the Last updated date as 10/22 and the status remains at Intial Review as of now. Not sure when do i get it approved. My 485 was filed in 2008 and so I havent sent any fee for renewing the advance parole (as I paid one time fee during 485 application process)

AP got approved today around 7:45am PDT. I had logged in earlier in the morning and status was still "Initial Review", refreshed it a few mins later while working on something else - lo and behold the LUD date had changed to 11/18 and case status had changed to document production or Oath Ceremony....so now I can travel on 11/28. Thanks to call for their help and comments |

I already did that once because of this AP fiasco and Singapore airlines charged me $375 per ticket and I lost $750 for two tickets... I learnt my lesson to keep my AP in status ALL THE TIME ...
