incorrect prority date on 140 , GC approved and has correct prority date on 485

guys -

mine 140 and 485 is approved on same day . I received cards too .
my priority date is Dec 2002 ( India ) .

my 140 approval notice has incorrect priority date of Sept 2007 . 485 approval notice has correct date of Dec 2002 .

Shall i ask my lawyer to get that corrected on 140 approval notice or just do not worry about it as i have GC now in hand .

Please advice .

is that a substitution case? Dont worry about it and enjoy. Your lawyer will tell you the same thing. Its USCIS print mistake.

No this is not substitution case . I went thorough pain of waiting for 6 years and 3 months -

I do not think correction in 140 matters now.

After all your 485 is approved using the right priority date.

I don't know the use of I140 approval notice for you after receiving I485 approval. But how difficult would that be to get it corrected. The good thing I see here is that you may help the authorities not to make similar errors in future case or at least reduce them.
