It depends on the I94 expiry date. Usually they give you 6 months on the I94, but they might give you less if you tell them your stay is going to be less than 6 months.

visa stamped may be for 6 months on passport. travel must be done in those 6 months
however, at POE, officer decides the I-94 date. departure must happen before that I-94 date irrepective of whats stamped on the visa. usually they give 6 months stay or the last valid day as per visa. sometimes hey may give only 3 months or 3 weeks. ys man seen it all heard it all. so just ask the visitors to be cool. express the liking to spend more time and travle and see this country. and all will be fine. enjoy. |
