Default I-140 Premium help?

I need small favor from IVians,
I am EB3 3/2005 applied 2007 I-485 filer.
I am porting from EB3 -> EB2.
EB2 PERM approved.

working on I-140 Premium processing,
how to associate my EB2 I-140 with my old EB3 I-485 ? is A# meant for that?
Is it safe to put my A# in new I-140 application??

help me.

Default What your employer or their attorney doing ?

I mean that I-140 is your employer's application, you shouldn't be worried about technical process. The process is called "INTERFILING" and your lawyer would be doing that while filing the new EB2 I-140.

I'm doing the same thing but I don't know what exactly they did - they wont share specifics because that's why we hired them. They probably give a piece of paper indicatint that the "OLD EB3 I-485" should now be clipped to the "NEW EB2 I-140" (after approval) instead of "OLD EB3 I-140". I dont care about specifics.
