EB1-OR Simple RFE

Hey guys,

I went through posts on this site but could not find similar RFE as mine. My company filed EB1-OR petition last week using premium processing and we received RFE yesterday asking for previous I-140 approval notice. Company lawyer is sending out response today.

My previous company filed my I-140 using EB2 and was approved. But after that I changed my job and my new company is filing EB1-OR.

I can provide credentials if someone wants to know but what does this RFE mean? It is just so simple that it makes me think they are buying some time.

Any help would be appreciated.

RFE mean request for further evidence. its is issued by the IO officer currently working on your case. IO officer when donot feel things are not straight , will issue RFE that needs to be responded promptly otherwise the case will be rejected. Be on top of it and in loop with your attorney, just donot rely on the attorney.

I agree and Response will go out today. Just wanted to know if someone had experience with RFE like this.

Just to update you guys.

My lawyer sent out response as he promised and when I checked status online today, it says that my petition was approved today.

Lawyer has not received email yet and we will have to wait for notice in mail but at least online status says that petition was approved.
