Good day,

I was wondering if anyone has an idea of how to change the statue in this situation...

I was working here under H1B for 8 months and then let go from my job. Now I want to stay but just need some time to find a new employer and have heard living here out of statues is not a good idea. Anyway to safely change my "out of statues" to something else in the meantime?

my i-129 is good until 2014..

Find New job within 2 weeks or go back to your home country ..and keep the search open. New company can file for H1 transfer - once approved you can travel back to US.
