YOUR 140 is APPROVED.

I would be very happy. In few days, I will be completing 180 days of 485 and if my 140 is approved, I feel like I got my green card. AC21 is green card in my opinion. All you got to do is shell out money for yearly AP and EAD renewals.

This does not require change in Law. USCIS alone can do it.

I dont know why people dont want PP. once 140 is approved you are free from the employer. You can work anywhere using EAD.

My PD is EB2 Feb 2003. I did not get my GC just because my 140 is pending. I would suggest anyone out there to push for 140 premium processing first. one major hurdle will be crushed.

not true my friend, its not an easy road as we all want it to be.
everyone here wish that it would be as easy as shelling out few bucks every year for renewal. the reality is no one can predict how many years or even worse how may decades (especially after Jan 08 bulletin, people started looking at GC times in decades ) its going to take to get your GC.
and let me tell you ITS NOT OVER UNTIL ITS OVER, so you never know what USCIS/DOL have in store for us in near future.

The only way to come out of this limbo is to act together and support yourself by supporting IV in every possible way.

EAD, AC21 is not GC !

Forget the issue of I-140 being revoked by employer/USCIS, similar job description requirements etc. Some have had issues getting Driving Licences on EAD !

Are we not immune if 140 is revoked and 140 is already approved and we have passed 180 days after applying to I-485??

I have approved 140 and EAD and completing 180 days.. but I lost my perm labor papers.. without which I don't have details of job description. Copmany lawyer is not supportive... so I am stuck just like you .. may be worse

There was a thread recently on IV about someones I-140 getting revoked 2.5 years after approval for no fault of his.

That's funny comparing EAD and AC21 to a GC ... as walking dude said you can't even get a driving license in most states with your EAD ( which you can get with your H1 ) ...

My employer applied for my I-140 PP just 4 weeks before USCIS stopped premium processing, and I got it approved after 1 RFE on the same week they announced the end of PP. At the same time we had this July VB fiasco and I got my AOS application filed, which I never thought would be possible in the near future!! I felt like buying a lottery ticket.
