For those of us who have followed the immigration debate for last couple of years, we know that Stuart Anderson is one of the few sane voices when it comes to high skilled immigration.

Stuart has recently published a complete book on Immigration and how it applies to business and economics. The book also covers important background and relevant history of the Immigration bills, key players and how the events around us affect us all. Anyone read the book? Plan on getting it for a good read on a long flight.

I've read the first two chapters of the book. The first chapter provides an excellent insight into the history of Immigration. Although we had some knowledge of how things progressed in recent past, this book provides is an extremely relevant and detailed true description of the events, the bills in 1990s, 2006 and 2007, and so on.

For those of us who care about our green cards and large debate surrounding the issues affecting us, you will find this book learning and worthy experience.

Wasn't Stuart Anderson the lobbiest whom ISN back in 2000 hired to lobby for AC21 ?

That is may not correct. Stuart Anderson was never a lobbist. But he did play a key role in AC21 law. Back then Stuart was Legislative Director for Sen. Abraham (R-MI). Stuart worked with key staffers across the aisle to recapture and pass other favorable provisions in AC21. In that sense, Stuart always had a front row seat to witness things unfold in front of him. This is what makes his book so unique.

According to the website, Stuart is Adjunct Scholar at CATO institute and he is executive director of another policy institute called NFAP.
