Can we please take off the embedded video from the front page

Dear IV Admin/Moderators:

Can we please take off the video from the IV from page, It's been there for about two weeks now, that's long enough for all IV members to have viewed it multiple times.

If there are members that are still insistent on keeping the video on the home page, may I please suggest changing the poster frame to something that is more representative of the IV community.

I second that. People gave me a weird look when they notice me with such a non-IV frame displayed on my monitor. Red markers - don't bother.

The plain text website makes browsing easier. Get rid of the video - or as suggested above, move it elsewhere.

When I open at my work place, I have to scroll down the browser, so that, that video image is hidden....I don't want folks around here, to think I am watching some video at work place.

Please change that to a hyperlink...that way anybody who wants to watch it, would be redirected.

I second this suggestion too. It pushes important information down below and the video is way too long and does not have the desired impact it is supposed to. I am not quite sure even I understood the message and for the first half of the video my thought was "what is this person getting at?". This is an honest opinion so please do not take it the wrong way.

This video was shot by the Texas State Chapter leaders during an event where they had a IV booth last year. The intent is to inculcate some interest in the community to contribute towards IVs efforts.

I understood this at the end of the video, but for more than the first half of the video, I could not understand the point of the same. A suggestion to the Texas state chapter, they may want to shorten the video to show the fundraiser quickly rather than the drive to Dallas etc.

Looks like most people here are still using IE.
