Immigration issue is a political football.

This particular study group of GOP has loyalty to businesses and it is speaking their language. They will be overwhelmed by others who know that "Will never legalize the illegals" gets them more votes.

Curious things will happen, as has happened in past, IF GOP really starts supporting legal immigration reforms. Democrats, yes, Democrats will shoot it down saying "Oh what we need is CIR, why waste time on incremental reforms. If you want to do incremental reforms start with DREAM". EB reform is used to hide behind to push their agenda of legalization and they can not afford that going away.

If the issue is solved, both parties are losing their war cry. What we need to keep in mind is, they are politicians. Their razor sharp focus is on getting votes and protecting the turf.
