Predictions for Feb 2009 Visa Bulletin?

Barely 15 days from now and we'll soon witness the birth of Feb 2009 Visa Bulletin. The Last two Visa Bulletin had created so much disappointments from the enitre immigration community. Cut-off dates were freeze particularly in EB categories.

The Feb Visa Bulletin: another mess? Will it be a treat? Will it bring happiness? or another sadness? Will cut-off dates advance forward? backward? or again stays constant?

Anyone with good prediction skills, time to show and impress bloggers with your predictions and reasons for saying so.

I have given up all predictions. Just causes BP to go up thinking about being stuck in one place...having no freedom to switch employers safely. I am EB3 India, Sept 2005 PD and expect to get my GC in the next 4-5 years hopefully. Thanks God for EAD card. Atleast I dont have to leave the country in case of Layoff.

Actually new quarter starts in Feb 2009... Not april 2009..

I think we will see some dates moving.

you are mistaken.

fiscal year 2009 started in oct 2008

thereby oct-nov-dec: 1st quarter
jan-feb-march: 2nd quarter
april-may-june: 3rd quarter
july-aug-sep: 4th quarter

What ever forward movement is there in Feb and Mar, I'll take it as bonus. :-)

Yeah, I agree that there will hardly be a change before the Q3, starting with the bulletin for April '09. The story is the same each year...the wait continues for the "lucky draw"!
But if some miracle happens in the meantime, great! Else, just keep all paperwork up-to-date and wait it out.
