I wrote to Lenders association 2-3 days ago, 'No response'... We can do more research on this and post contacts here..

I have refinanced multiple times. Yes, they needed clarity on what an EAD is but once they heard this is not like H1, they were fine. At the same time I am an employee of a very large firm in the city, they saw the badge and were cool with the refinance.

anyone know lender who accepts EAD for refinance in atlanta area. Wells fargo giving hard time for HARP refinance.

Hi there
You should have no Problem in getting a refinance on EAD. GO with Mortgage Consultant not Mortgage broker if you are not already doing. Brokers do not have the complete knowledge. If you google you will get may links includint Urban development authority guidelines for EAD and getting a loan and also a Refinance.

The following document clearly shows EAD as acceptable for granting a mortgage. Maybe if you e-mail this document to the loan officer it might help.

I am on EAD for last 5 years and I have refinanced my mortgage 2 time in last one year. You should not have any issues at all.
