Let's make sure, we just just say one thing in unison (which is the main point of the article) - something like (but in your own words) - "per country quota is bad, ....... there is no point is making people wait for a decade just because they are from a specific country, ........ they are already here and contributing. These people are paying taxes and contributing to the society. They are not taking anyone's jobs, they have been here, for what seems like ages now............"

I have bee seeing the Immigration issue from 2005 . It has been 4 years and reams of articles and debates later we are exactly where we were , except for the Visa Gate scandal that gave some of us EAD's.

2006 Immigration was not taken up in the House , although senate passed it .
2007 - That was the election campain year , so no immigration
2008 - Obama comes in he has to get set , so immigration
2009 - Economy , healthcare , war in iraq so no immigration
2010-

A really good time for immigration debate is NOW!. And if we are serious about it, we need to contact our respective lawmakers. Otherwise all of us the 30,000 IV members can just count years and EAD renewals.

I think its in-line and we should ask to extend 20k (available to H1b) to the GC process too.
