Default I'm already victime

I am already victim of USCIS and Washington policies . MY I-140 is approved , missed the july fiasco.

But my H1B transfer got denied. Old employer already sent notices to revoke my H1B and I-140

Moved back to India. Hope to come back.

Unless Washington and DOS changes their policy ,I am sure some or majority of you would be coming back to India in one way or other.

My record is clean with all the Paystubs, w2 , returns, bank statements , no criminal/court records. Always worked for Big employers with 10k+ people with more than 2 Billion $ in Revenue. But USCIS witch haunted me.

Good Luck guys .

[quote=pappu;420956]Grim future awaits EB immigrants. Will the community wake up before it's too late?

PAPPU cant dance sala !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Havent we done fax email campaigns before

There is no point faxing or sending letters to Congress unless we do something to get media attention or there is a large protest in diff states at the same time........No Congress member will risk their seats bcos of immigration issues, they need votes not ur worries

Unless we all can turn into a vote bank ur issues will lie as is.

Now guys dont start replying that , I dont contribute or no one attends rallies or diff to organise one etc etc.......Pappu therein lies the problem.

Default This post is going to stay on top

I had sent Papu's post directly/indirectly to 100 folks , I know who are in immigration limbo to sign up/become an active IV member. It's really screwed up, ppl wont even spend time to express there feelings, much less do anything. This post is hardly few pages long.

One of my colleagues is such as "PU??Y", that he thinks, posting such information, or talking to a senator about our issues, might backfire , as if USCIS would get his name for expressing our dissent and will screw his immigration application.

holy crap!, we have tons of these "FA?S", who work and remain oppressed, because they deserve it.

Default

I worked for 6 years .Always with big companies.

Due to bad auto industry, i moved from an american company after I-140 is approved (since they asked me to go directly), i have joined an Offshore Indian company which is ranked number 5 , with 63000 people on board and 4 billion in revenues.

USCIS RFE'd the company and sent denial notice that my Skill is not suitable for H1B classification.
The Same Skill set i am working for 6 years in US , got my Labor and I-140 cleared, now they throwed that skillset out of the basket
Great thing is, showing my capabilities, we won a big project to be done in offshore. Essentially i have offshored atleast 15 people job to India from US.

US has lost 15 people work for 2 years and some supporting jobs.

Washington and DOS has to look into this . Otherwise, more jobs will be Offshored as people leave the country.

Default EB2 I - 40 years, Eb3 India 90 years !!!

Guys,

Check out this link below. This is the first time "GRIM" has been defined to be 40 years for EB2 India and 90 Years for EB3 India.

ILW.COM - immigration news: Adjustment Of Status Interview After Decades

Quoted from Article
Quote:
This writer has not yet been able to comprehend the math, but if it is likely to take decades for permanent residency to materialize, it means anywhere from 10 year to 90 years. Jeff Gorsky of the State Department Visa Office told the India interest group luncheon at the AILA Annual Conference in Las Vegas on June 5, 2009 that the EB-2 wait could be at least 40 years and the EB-3 wait a few decades longer. Let’s hope that our State Department mandarins are wrong on the math. Regardless, even a 10 year plus wait for an EB-2 or EB-3 applicant would be very problematic. How can an employer possibly keep a job offer open for so long? It would be cruel to deprive the potential immigrant of job mobility, such as promotions or even job flexibility with new employers. Moreover, the technology described in the job description may well get obsolete over the years and decades.

Nowadays USCIS is giving all non-sense reasons for denying H1B extensions and new H1s. This is probably as per direction by Immature Mr Change.

One guy who had a BTech in mechanical fields was given the reason that he don't qualify for H1B in tech field. He had been working on H1B for the past 6 years on H1B on the petition approved by USCIS.

How can USCIS find fault with its own earlier decision ?

All this nonsense would lead to more outsourcing. Inexperienced/Immature Mr Change doesn't get it.

This seems to be a BS. Attorney is trying to make more money by asking AOS candidates to keep on extending H1B.

Also why doesn't this attorney give a link to the memo he is talking about ?

Show us the actual memo pdf. Not an attorney's interpretation/link.
