i gather you had a problem with the quote. assuredly there are ways to deal with "problems" other than behaving like a gleeful child running around waving arms because s/he thinks s/he has caught and adult doing something "wrong". maybe the style suits you though since i've never seen anyone with such few posts and 2 red s. actually, not sure i've seen anyone with 2 red s yet.

if you had a real problem with the language, i can't see why you would highlight those words in big bold red. and why 2 separate threads with the same post? once is not enough attention for you?

reds and greens are automatically determined based on other member's approval or disapproval of the user's posts. the scales sybol in the top right hand corner allows you to comment on other user's posts.
this has nothing to do with the forum itself or administrators/moderators.

With all due respect, we ought to be worrying more about the impending 10-25 years of GC wait, and invest our energies more in fighting it. By fight, I mean , not firing fiery messages on a forum, but the place where it counts.

LogicLife may not have been polite, and followed high standards of PCness in his posting. There are ,of course, those who have genuine, pressing reasons not to attend. His post wasn't meant for them. But for those who could, but chose not to attend for petty reasons like money, fear etc. Admonishment can work wonders, of course, for those who have self-respect. For the rest, it's just name calling.


Long story short, LogicLife is not our enemy. RETROGRESSION is our biggest enemy. Worst logiclife MAY do is ban you as a member. Retrogression WILL destroy several productive years of your life.


Bottomline: If we are brave enough to fight - Let's fight in DC for our GC, instead of here.

These people never contribute to IV but come here with jealous and want to spoil atmosphere. atleast i have see many of them since july fiasco, they want to discourage in every manner.

GCRETROIV..... have you tried to get people involved in IV activities? Then you will realize it takes tremendous effort to make people do something, when they are can get the fruits of labor for free.

I emailed a t least a hundred of people and spoke to all my friends about IV efforts and the July 2 fiasco. I discovered people did not trust anything could be done.
Suspected I had some motive. People prefered to play cricket all weekend and thought I was crazy. Only one of my friends contibuted monetarily to IV.

I was prety frusstrated myself. I can fuly understand the languge logiclife used. I feel people are too laid back and do not want to do anything till the devil knocks on the door.

May be you should consider coming out of the anonymous crowd and start participating in the activities rather than resorting to satire and irony. You are very close to the DC region and you have not chosen to update your profile yet?? Even in the wake of DC rally??

The words you highlighted can be construed to in what ever way you want. How ever, there is more colloquial meaning to them and it is unfortunate that you are dragging it beyond that. The post did not take shots at any one. It pointed out the attitude of some people and what they are losing in the whole picture. In fact, it pointed the harsh reality of people who are very well educated (very highly) and are not in sync with the day to day life and act as if they are unconcerned even though they are concerned inherently.

I am a core member (recently inducted) and as per your profile you are in the the DC area. I wanted to talk with you regarding your issue of Jun filing and NO receipt and to involve you in the local chapter. I called the 678 number you provided IV and it went to some American lady who was pissed off. I left 2 VM's. she ignored and then 3rd time she answered and told me that some one gave the wrong number.
