b2 visitor visa extension ..I have h1 rfe

Hi..need your help..I have got rfe fr my h1 extension..My mom is here and her i 94 expires aug 3 2012..I want to extend her i 94 by a month ..I am her sponsorer...when she originally did her papers back in 2008....Can i apply for her extension while im yet to responnd backk on my rfe.
If yes.

I gotta questionon the documents...is it suffecient if i show my bank letter fr financial proof...is any sort of affidavit required.....

Please help..
