Obviously, Chinese seem to have direct phone line to CO at DOS, and they get all right for the past few month VB.
I am still trying to get the direct link. I didn't hear wrong, it was 09/01/2007 as I was told.
Also, VB will be published today based on what I heard.
Yes, it could be rumor, but they were right the past few months.. so just a data point for your consideration.
My best/prediction was EB2 should be between 06/01/2007 and 10/1/2007, to build pipeline for next year, as they prob need 30K for EB2 spillover, etc

The dates moving till Sept 1,2007 means they would be receiving 10K more applications.
If DOS moves dates till Sept 1, 2007 it also means USCIS is sitting on at least 10K more visas but is not/can not use it. If there were indeed so many visas available to DOS why did they not move the dates in August 2011 VB?
Another thing to note is that DOS has moved dates around 15th/22nd of the months.
It seems highly unlikely that DOS is bucking the trend now.
Given these factors I for one am not holding my breath. Sounds like very usual 'gossip' or 'rumour mongering' at best
