Default Go for it!

With the current crawling of PD movement port it!

Since you start EB2 from the beginning, it's a new process and not connected to your EB3. If employer agrees, file your EB2 in a EB2 "role". GC is always for future job, so your current role doesn't matter!

Immigration attorneys are idle now, busy swatting flies, will find an EB2 position for you.

Good Luck!

My priority date is 04/2009 in EB3. I am still in the same job from the past 8 years. No promotion, only salary increment. Working in same kind of role, but different technologies. In this situation, If my employer agrees for EB2, am I qualify for EB3 to EB2 porting without any issues with the same employer? Particularly as no promotion.

Thanks
