Friends,

My friend,

If you go thru' Visa Bulletin document published by DOS for July 2010 (Item F), you will note that DOS has advised that for the fiscal year 2010 (ending in Sept 2010), they would expect the dates for EB India to move to Feb 2002. There are very positive predictions for EB3 India to move ahead of Feb 2002 after Sept 2010. I believe that your PD (08/2004) will be cleared in 24 months time from now, mainly due to porting from EB-3 to EB-2 or EB-1C. Some one has predicted such conversions at as high as 20000 (including family count@4 - Husband, wife and 2 kids) in next 2 years. I wish you Good Luck.

Thanks and regards

here is my realistic thought, my pd is jan 31,2003. i dont expect to be greened for another 3 years atleast. so, that will give you an idea of how and when your date will be current. also, trying on the path of converting from eb3 to eb2. its tough in this economy to convince your employer that they will not get resumes in the perm labor ad. cant give it up also right?

My PD Aug,2002 and I dont think I will get it next year. There are more than 7000 Apps in 2002 and the PD is still in 2001. Best bet give support to IV, avoid any fight with E2s, concentrate yourself in family/study/sports to kill time, save your job, think ahead. Right now I am driving 220 miles everyday for my job, have no other option other than leave US.

Some thread in immigrationvoice was saying because of low demand in family a spill over may occur from family and it would be equally divided between EB2 and EB3 , Is this a possibility ?
If this is the case EB3 should also have some relief.

But atleat EB3 or EB2 folks have EAD's , But people like us (EB3 or EB2) who missed july 2007 dont even have EAD's and have been waiting since past 4 years to get one, Never has been a gap so much big compared to past 15 years. This is the height.

Family based spillover equally to EB2 and EB3 - highly unlikely.

Oh yes! there has been longer waits before, you are forgetting that just after the 2001 tech bust several states did not process labor certs itself for about 2 years. On top of that once the labors were transferred to Backlog Reduction centers, it took a couple of years more. My labor itself took 3 years... when I-485 dates were current for a long time.
