Hi!

I wanted some clarification with regards to filing for i -485. I was looking at some of the members in the forums, who had stated their PD, and the date their 485 was filed. I looked back on the visa bulletin with regard to the dates that the 485 was filed. In some of the instances, the date that was claimed did NOT include the pd claimed...How is that possible? Can some one please explain....

in the past as a miracle, sometimes during july 2007, all categories became current for a brief period and people were able to file their 485 during this very very short gap. Due to which, lot of people got their freedom by getting EADs and APs so that they could change jobs etc. hope this helps.

Is there any accurate/offficial record of how many cases for AOS /485 were filed in the july 2007 fiasco? Is there any way of finding out how many Eb2/Eb3Labor certificates were approved in the 2005-2007 period? It seems that the EB2 category is now "staying" in the 2004 range for the past quarter....is it possible to estimate when the 2006-07 people will become current?

Seriously wish for a july 2009 fiasco:D

This might have been covered in previous threads, but I wanted to know if there was any official record/ data of the number of people who filed in the July 2007 Fiasco, and also the number of LC's that were approved in the 2005-2007 time period in both the EB2 and EB3 category....I am just trying to see if there is any reasonable way of predicting how far down the queue I am....

Any comments experts?
