Looks like EB3 I moved 7 days?:o:o
Those among us who are going to be busy with filing in time should still remember to support 3012 as IV action items. Let us atleast bring some relief to the plight of those stuck in AUGUST 2002!!!!!!! Gosh that is awful but can change dramatically with 3012.

Visa bulletin out. This is UNFAIR for EB3 people. It did NOT move at all from the last one. System is broken.

Without successful legislation such as H.R. 3012, EB3 India is pretty much a dead-end road, more like a holding area where you wait before you get on to the next train (read EB2 upgrade) that will actually get you to your destination (GC).

Guys, It feels good seeing EB2 moving at such a fast pace but at the same time lets not forget that no progress is being made at EB3I/C front. We need to continue our relentless effort to push for HR3012 that is the only foreseeable hope that guys in EB3I/C category have. Please support/donate to IV!

Not just do that. Those who are eligible can port to EB2 if any EB3 want green card faster. EB2 will always better as CIS is strict and rejections are more in EB2

Step up the efforts for the H.R.3012...thats only hope.

We are EB3 Feb 2003 applicants. This sucks. Except for HR 3012, we have no hope. Is it even worth waiting out now? Despair at its highest...

I feel the same that our only hope is HR3012 with Feb 2003 PD. It is a situation that after waiting so long don't want to change employers just for EB2 but at the same time not sure how much longer the wait would be. The employer is of course happy to have me "stuck" at the same level for last several years and no pay increases as its beyond the band of my job title and they cannot change job title now due to H1/GC. Its a vicious circle!!

But not losing hopes and working on all action items put forth by IV on HR3012. Urge others to do the same!!!

This message will be an inspiration to everyone towards H.R.3012. I appreciate you for reminding that, though you got current in the Jan 2012 bulletin.;)

Congrats!!!!!!!!

Has anyone thought about this visa movement to Jan 2009 (EB2) will impact HR 3012? It makes politicians to think that there is no much retrogression on EB2 for India and China.

What is the hypothitical impact on HR 3012 due to this visa movement?

Please share your ideas.

I do not have birth certificate and I have to get non availability certificate as there is no record for my birth.
What is the format for this certificate?
Who is authorized to sign this certificate?
Does any one know the process to get it?

I know, I am just sending this message in different thread. I should open a new thread. But I did not find way to open new thread. So I am just sending this message if I can get answer to my questions.

1st of all congrats to all who got current and will get theie EADs and GCs too hopefully. Looking from the likes of it looks like USCIS has taken IVs suggestion of building a pipeline. Hopefully things will keep moving as the bad economy in 2009-10 most probably impacted new filings.
It will be interesting to see how many new applications will flood the system and will this lead to future retrogression.

The only viable long term solution lies in the passage of HR 3012 as that will create a fair and balanced FIFO for all.

Anyways congrats and best of luck to all. Looks like santa came just in time....:D

Congratulations to all who are current; this is a great boon and happy surprise to me and to all EB2 folks.

Friends with all the freedom we are getting we should ramp up our efforts more to support H.R. 3012 till it is passed in Senate and made to law by the President.

Go IV..

Thanks

Hi,

I don't see how to creare a new post so I am posting it here. Please excuse me for using the wrong thread.

I would like to know what one needs to do after getting GC? For example I thing one thing one needs to do is remove "For Work" from SSN.

Thanks

I agree with all those who say we should ramp up HR 3012 efforts.

After 11 years in US, my PD got current today - a completely unexpected but pleasant surprise!

When I finally got current, it all of a sudden reinforced to me the extreme unfairness of the system to IC!

Of course I am relieved and elated - but that is only because they have made it so hard for us. Nobody deserves their lives to be put on hold like this, for circumstances beyond their control, like your country of birth.

Go IV. Go HR3012!

Can't say much, but very dejected and feeling down & low after seeing Jan 2012. I do not want to create a dispute or any sort of controversy here, but I ask this question is "EB3" the unwanted child of the family? What wrong have we guys done? We have been working like slaves since last 10 years for the same stupid employers.

Lets do it together, lets support HR3012 to our best. Some guys having the power just don't get it as to how important this bill is for the economy and for people like us.

Folks,

I got the magic email late last night. I have been current since December bulletin.

After 9 years of wait finally got greened.

My story so far:

140 approved Jul 07 with PD of July 29 02

485 file during July 07

2 EAD/APs 2008 & 2010

Have been with same employer since I started GC process.

Thanks to AmanK/Teddy/VLDRao and many more for all your efforts.
and keeping up our spirits.

To the rest of the EB3 folks, there is HR3012 to provide releif. Lets all support the efforts of IV and make it pass the last hurdle in Senate.

Good Luck to all & Thanks again.

I hate the rules around EB3 to EB2 conversion, you need to move to completely to new Job role if you want stay with the same company:confused:

EB3 moved 1 week. Wow. I'm just lost for words. It's like punching you in the gut when you are down.

1 week is a joke. Seriosly How many people applied between 1 aug 2002 and 8 aug 2002. Is there a way to see this.

Hr3012 is the only hope.

yes it is pathetic... We have waited way way too long. I dont know what lawmakers think of EB-3 as but I do know quite a few ppl who are well educated (MS, MBA and entrepreneurial drive) but unfortunately stuck in EB-3 mess.

This bill helps EB2 and more than that it will help EB3. This big movement means you need to be ready that Visa Bulletin will not move for 2 more years until they clear all inventory. Remember after July 2007? How slow it moved? This will repeat. So any one after Jan 2009 should be worried abt it and participate in action items more rigorously. So come out of your dreams and work towards H.R 3012 even if you are EB2 after Jan 2009. Now they will have minimum of 50K applications which takes at least 2 years for them to forward visa bulletin. So from next bulletin expect retrogression and stalled movement for EB2 also.

I hope current folks won't just get EAD like 2007 folks and wait for another 3 years for GC.

Please support fully HR 3012 if you want Green card and not EAD.

Thanks,
