Hello everyone,

My I-140 was recently filed under eb3 at the texas processing center (NON premium). I know the date says aug 21 2006 but i have heard people say on here and other forums that it comes a lot quicker than 6 months. Has anyone had any experiences to share of late?

Thanks

My application (non premium) for I-140 (EB2, MD) went to Texas Service Center in end of September and was approved in one month. Many people in my company have noticed similar time frames.

My application (EB2, IN, non-premium) was approved within a month (filed in Oct 2006 and approved on Nov 20th).

Good luck with yours.

Hello,

My case (EB-2, India, Non Premium) took about six weeks. Filed in last week of November 2006 and approved 1st week of January 2007, from TSC.

Good Luck with your case.

Given a EB3-RIR, will it make sense to have premium processing??? Also, where can I find more information about PP? Thanks in advance.

Folks may be going the PP route on EB3 to make avail themselves of the 3 year H1 extension rule. It makes sense to spend the extra cash if their current H1 (beyond 6 years) is expiring so that they can get a 3 year extension vs a 1 year extension without the 140.
