Isn't it really sad that 1/2 a million people rally for illegal immigrants and nobody gives a damn about legal immigrants.

Folks, can you please contribute to Immigration voice - our only hope in getting our voices heard is through organized efforts.

Anybody had a chance to view the Immigration Debates Yesterday/Today on TV. I saw the one on ABC with George Stephanopoulos but all his guests spoke about illegal migration issues.

Please share your views about any of the other debates you've have seen.

I watched Spector and Tan Credo. Spector was confident that any bill that gets through senate will result in achieving his outcome through the conference settings.

It is highly unlikely that the senate will pass anything with the guest worker program and it is highly likely the house will not allow this. The most likely outcome is that no immigration reform will happen until 07 after the house elections.

The frist bill is bad because it removes the ability of immigrants to sue USCIS. All other senate bills have this clause.

The worst part of ALL of these bills is that it will remove the "soft" country limits and force "hard" country limits (albeit higher) resulting in heavy backlog for Indians and Chinese. Very cleverly these bills then transfer the "excess visa numbers" to the next lower category until it reaches the lowest unskilled category where all the "guest workers" will be waiting to apply for a "path" to citizenship. The whole immigration reform is tainted by the focus on illegal and and unlawful non citizens living and working in this country wanting to jump the queue.
