Look at the link below, someone got a RFE, what is interesting is that the PD is not current. is it possible that they can be looking at your case even if the PD is not current.

Can we take this as a good sign.

Have you got the RFE or the attorney representing you got it. I also got an RFE but when I called USCIS, they said that the attorney would receive it. The RFE was sent on 04/13 but still my attorney did not receive it. I don't knoe the contents of it. My processing date is May 2002.

PD - Jan 2003 & my family(wife, son, daughter) received RFE on their I-485 last year - August 2006..

So, NOT to get excited...

As a "Pre-adjudication" process, USCIS is just keeping your I-485 file "Up-to-date", so whenever "Visa" would be available, your I-485 will get adjudicated..

Though, we think that there are "NO" activities (or NO work is going on in USCIS) but there are lot of "back ground" avtivities are going with our files in USCIS!!

After our I485 transferred to Texas Service Center in March 2007, LUD has changed several times. Then,
Last week, we had 2nd finger print taken.
Today, I got email notification about RFE.

I'm be curious to know what's going on. Right now waiting for Attorney's email ..about details of this RFE.
