If you had chickpox when you were a child (however, you cannot show any proof right now), do you still need to take the vaccination?

Someone told me that your blood work can show if you have had a vaccination before (and you do not have the record proof at hand). Has anyone actually done that? If so, how long does it take to get the bloodwork result?

Thanks in advance!

Depends upon the doctor you are seeing. My doc in civil surgeon office trusted my words and marked OK for chicken pox vaccination.

you need immunizations for only MMR and polio. Other vaccinations are recommended, not required.

Our doctor said chickenpox vaccination is not needed. We were given only MMR and TD and the TB test.

My doctor only gave me TD. For all others he signed in the column named "Not appropriate for Age" in the form but he did checked the correcct option (#3) in the results options.

I hope he knows what he is doing.
