Default Risk of starting Green Card Processing without joining that company these days ?

Hi All

I need your advise very urgently.

I am consultant and right now I am working for a desi consultancy company. My desi consultancy company is about to start Green Card processing for me UNDER EB2 CATEGORY.

But now, I got a full time opportunity to work for a top Fortune 100 company. But there is a TWIST. This fortune 100 company will do Green card in EB3 category for me and that too after 2 years from now.

I am planning to join this full time company, but start Green card processing with another desi consultancy for Future Employment without joing that desi consultancy company.

But the problem is some people are warning me that clearance of I-140 will be very difficult these days if I do Green card processing with desi consultancy without joining them.

Please advise what should I do? Shall I go ahead and take this full time opportunity or should I stick with the current employer (desi consultancy) and start Green processing under EB2 with them.

Plz plz...I have to tell Yes or No to Fortune 100 company ASAP.

I would say, Go ahead with your new employment.
If the consulting company is willing to file for EB2, let that process continue too.
You have lot of time to think over it later.
I personally dont see any issues. I have been there, done that wrt the greencard filing
Good Luck.
