Default Labor Copy and I 140 Copy - Experiences at Big Companies

Hi,
My Husband has been working with a big bank like JPMChase, Bankofmerica, CitiBank for 9 years. Fragomen is their Law firm. Now there is a chance that there might be a layoff in his team.
My question is - do these companies provide Labor Copy, I 140 copy
1. when Laid off
2. when my husband looks for another job
and decides to go with Fresh labor, I 140 in EB2 ( also try porting earlier EB3 the priority Date)

My husband has asked these questions to Fragomen lawyer and the lawyer referred him back to his own manager. Looks like privacy doesn’t apply here.
And you can understand my husband can’t ask his manager “what happens if I find another job before you lay me off ?”

I believe most of you are in the same boat. I appreciate sharing your thoughts and experiences.

Fragomen probably couldn't answer his question because your husband is not Fragomen's client, the company is. He should not discuss anything suggesting leaving the company with Fragomen if they represent the company, because their primary duty is to the company, not your husband.
