Default H1B 240 day rule

The H1B 240 day rule allows employees to work beyond the expiration dates on their H1B provided the extension is filed in a timely manner for 240 days.

Will the 240 day rule apply even if I reentered on AP in parolee status (AOS) but continue working for the same H1B employer who has filed the extension in a timely manner?
