I know few people who received second FP notice for their I-485 (yes AOS, not EAD) . I guess some people are receiving it and some don't.

Will calling the service center using the POJ method help in finding out if I need a 2nd FP?

Default I doubt that USCIS may have one more condition in data

Chances are that not all cases are preadjudicated.

If you have not yet been fingerprinted, you may want to call or take an infopass.
We may see one more condition in their data of Pre Adjusted 485 apps. Condition is All 485s who has done medicals and bio metrics. and we don't know how many pending 485 whose medical or biometrics are missing or not collected initially. LOL !!

We need to find out whether or not can we expect another FP notice. From a USCIS link in the past I had read that the initial FP taken will be good for the entire period the AOS is pending. But now since few people have started receiving second FP notice we should find out if at all there is a second FP needed.

Make sure that a fingerprinting notice is not missed in the mail or date ignored. I have seen on the forum where people who missed the appointments had NOIDenial notices sent.

here is a link to the immigrant visa issuances for FY 2008. Wonder why EB3 has very few numbers. Is it due to the 7% limit.

Sorry to say but, overall EB3 India and China are doomed with such visa allocations.
India had just 3,576 in EB3 while EB2 had 14,818. Past few year's EB3 I allocations were much larger. It is likely to be the same due to the new system of unused visas carried over to high demand categories/nationalities. This should wake up a lot of EB2 and EB3 folks from heavily retrogressed countries.

It is time to stop tracking and doing some serious advocacy.

I wish pre-adjudication meant no more RFE for july07 filers. Logically speaking if your application is already pre adjudicated there should not be any more rfe but this USCIS and Obama administration we are talking about here. I am afraid this is what USCIS schedule would look like

2009 Pre-Adjudicate 485
2010 Pre-Pre-Adjudicate Pre-Adjudicated 485
2011 Pre-Pre-Pre-Adjudicate Pre-Pre-Adjudicated 485
2012 Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Adjudicate Pre-Pre-Pre-Adjudicated 485
2013 Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Adjudicate Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Adjudicated 485
2014 Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Adjudicate Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Adjudicated 485

And what is Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Adjudication? that would be knock the living daylights out of the EB2\Eb3 India\China applicants with Employment verification letter, same similar job restrictions etc. If a few people somehow survive the Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre--Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Adjudication USCIS will issue an RFE on how you survived so many RFE's.

While I am genuinely thankful to USCIS for finally waking up and taking pro active steps to pre adjudicate 485 apps, my mind is still fresh of numerous cases where USCUS blindly and arbitrarily sent denial notices even when AC21 provisions clearly state that even if employer revokes approved I140 it should not affect AOS. EB2 and Eb3 India China have a long wait, we can only hope and pray for the best. Good Luck.

Can we atleast ask for an administrative fix to leave the pre adjudicated apps alone and not issue any more RFE until green card is issued.

Ha ha ha - this made me laugh. Have we all not bcome very very cynical about all this? Well, we must take certain things into consideration. Processing petitions and issuing RFEs or denials on a regular basis means allocation of resources, a well coordinated internal plan to execute this.

I really do not think what you think could be the case. There is a possibility that once preadjudicated, cases may again come up for review and it is based on the officer to decidewhether to issue an RFE or not.

In past we have seen a lot of people on forums who used to get RFE whenever their dates were current and their files were touched only to find out that the dates moved back when they responded to RFE.

If USCIS is really streamlining its proccesses, then I think we can expect some amount of sanity.

But the reality is the market and the skilled immigrant backlash which we are dealing with and I guess we have to deal with it - no end to the fight. Everything has become a struggle now.

Default FP might be after GC

I am guessing for July 07 filers, if FP expire, 2nd FP might be done, once they issue GC.

So i am not expecting any FP till my GC. I might be wrong but its a guess.

After reading few postings above is it safe to conclude that :If I did not get any FP notice for AOS, (please note I had done 2 Finger Printing for EAD earlier) does this mean that my case is not Pre-adjudicated ??
If you missed your FP notice , do not worry i missed mine as I was travelling and got it rescheduled when I came back ............ but yes do not miss it completely. Is there any other way to know if you have been Pre-adjudicated ??

Are you sure about this?

I called up the Service Center and asked her about the FP. She said if it's been more than 15 months, you may want to take an InfoPass appt. and get a FP scheduled. I am not sure how serious to take her suggestion.
