Default Wireless Internet in India

If I take my office laptop to India, what is the best way to hook it up to the internet? We have broadband cable for our desktop but no wireless at home.

Option1) Buy a wireless router from here or there and bridge it between ur broadband and your desktop , then your laptop is ready to connect to this new wireless router.
Option2) Not sure if this works. buy a wireless USB adapter , hook it to your desktop and make it a access point.

There are many wireless internet providers like reliance, tatafone, airtell ( lot many more) etc, which provides you wireless internet, all over India. Check up their websites. Very good service - fast and not very expensive. They give a compact, highly portable flash drive sort of small connector, same like in US, to plug in with laptop - to connect internet.

I agree. I am currently in India and travel a lot, bought reliance netconnect and am happy with the speed and no connectivity issues at all.
