Default Am I eligible for H1B?

Hi Gurus,

My wife is currently in U.S.A. for last 4 yrs on H4 visa. Before coming to USA, She did her
bachelor of science in mathematics (12+3 years), then master of science in mathematics
which is (12+3+2=17 years) and 3 years of diploma from NIIT in India. After her master
degree, she has 18 months of software development experience in India. I want to know is she eligible to apply for H1b visa? Is 18 months of experience enoguh to get the H1 approval? if yes, what are her chances of getting the approval?
Looking forward to hear from gurus.
Thanks
SHL

She can get H1 visa if the job that she is applying for requires US Equivalent of Bachelors degree or higher in Math or related field. MSc from India typically equates to BS from US. Here are more details on H1: USCIS - H-1B Specialty Occupations and Fashion Models

Thanks hibworker for the reply. Is 18 months experience enough for her to get the h1b?

There is no minimum experience required to apply for H1-B visa.
