Any idea when we can register to donor forum again, I believe it was suspended for hr 3012

Contribution is to invest and believe in a movement, it can be money, it can be time or both, but contribution is not equal to clicking links. I am sorry, when there are people who are giving their all to this movement there comes a certain level of trust. If you start asking about updates and closed door discussions in an open forum, first it is lame to ask and then expect information to be posted openly in forums is counter productive. There are action items that are posted as a benefit for members to act upon understanding it is something that benefits their own good. The expectation is members will understand this and execute even if they never contributed. I have been with IV from the time it was up, but I understand the efforts may not always translate to results we want, but I can't even think of a life without IV as a platform where I can channelize all my energy with fellow members who are affected and work towards a common goal rather than take it all upon myself. That's my 2 cents.

Why don't you create your own website where your 20,000 people will click links and send emails all day . If you think that is a contribution, you will have lot of contribution and lot of traffic. You can even get your folks in home countries keep clicking your links in the night everyday and you can have many more traffic and click contributions.

On the Senate website, it is possible to query on who lobbied for what issue and how much they spent. If anyone is asking what IV is doing with your (yet to be donated) money the answer is right there before your eyes. Now stop asking the misplaced doubt question and start contributing!

Website traffic does not produce laws. It takes resources like time, money, commitment and sacrifice to even show case our problem for law makers to understand. Even after recognition, there is no obligation for them to act on it, because they have many other pressing needs from their constituents that they have to tackle. Imagine this a platform was build, tested and stood up and is being hosted all by volunteers just for members to sign up for free and exchange and gather information and people get a wealth of knowledge just being members. I am thankful for all those volunteers and core members who are tirelessly working and still have taken time to give us a platform for the our own benefit. So I always ask myself, what can I do, what have I done lately, how can I bring value to constructively add value to this platform. I hope everyone else feels the same way.
