When they say Science....would it cover applied sciences also? I am a dentist and I believe it should be covered under Science. Can you folks comment?

Thanks

Well, its a long way b'fore congress would enact the Bill and become a law.First, lets see whether the Bill ever go for vote in the house after all these committee's, Sub-Committee's and other Bureaucratic procedures. Not to forget,Tommy and his 91 folks + the Election year .

Default Plan B ???

Folks,

While PACE is great if it works out. It helps 0.5 % of the total population) if not, what is the backup strategy ? time we get all our directions and strategies right. 2007 will be a bad year if you want to overcome the EB Retro issues, it is time we all collect our thoughts and translate it to +ve actions ASAP...

We also have to help the EB2 and EB3 victims, so we should not take anything granted from Govt, we are dealing with some very smart lethargic people.

Default Immediate Relative

The immediate relatives of an alien who is admitted as an employment-based immigrant under section 203(b).

Does it means any immediate relative waiting in EB1, EB2 and EB3 can file if primary has applied?

Thanks

Default PACE act and Retrogression

It appears that the writes of the PACE act worry only about EB1 and EB2 categories. What about EB3? THe root cause of the retrogression is the 'Country of Birth' quota. Unless this quota is removed EB3 would continue to be retrogressed. This forum must lobby hard to eleiminate the 'per country of birth quota' from the EB category. How can there be quota on talent? On negotiations they may ask for compromise to eliminate quota for 5 years or raise the limit from 7% to say 15%. But we must fight to eliminate it completely and permanently.
