Default Thousands of Americans flocking to India in shocking twist within Reverse Brain Drain

Not only are hundreds of thousands of highly-skilled workers currently in America thinking of packing their bags due to frustrating visa woes, also Americans are flocking to India by the tens of thousands in search of better opportunities, in a shocking twist of the self-inflicted U.S. Reverse Brain Drain. As early as 2006 there were already articles like the below:

Default New - tip of the iceberg

Yes, that was an old article to show you that it had started, here's one from 2007. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

If we don't defend our jobs in America now, by the time we get kicked out and go back home, Americans will have already taken our jobs in India, China etc. Do you guys want that to happen? We need to go to Washington to fight for what's fair!!! Together we can!!!

Good..We shall privilege those guys with 'hara patta'...

I still remember reading one article, where they have mentioned living condition in India is jus one step below living in hell....the reason many social workers go to india and gave their service to people in India...

I don't think those guys could survive[Water, food, Corruption] for long time there...

I'm not sarcastic..jus being practical...

If living condition in India is just one step below living in Hell...then I am wearing my horns, picking up my pick fork and going to hell..it should be great if it is any close to India..These guys should look into some of the swanky establishments in Bangalore...

Nerve of them to talk like this when they have places like Bronx, Newark and such places right here.

I meant the quality of living.....
Here comfort level is high....there corruption level is high...

Though the life is hectic here...we feel good to enjoy this life ...
Americans jus can't enjoy Indian Corporate/Society in long run...

As living conditions and pay continue to improve in India, those Americans will love it there more and more, and more will follow. Imagine you are a high-skilled American, and you cannot get an exciting job in the U.S while in India you could be a director...do the math

Nothwithstanding the realities, I guess your practicality borders the realm of the unreal as well !

Corruption well yes...water and food, that is taking it too far. Not one of my several non-Indian, non-american friends who have visited India for months had any issue regarding water and food at anytime, in fact each and every one just relished them.

It just needs a shift in our concepts and the engagement of our awareness to reassess how things are changing. That will prevent our minds from beating a dead horse.

Wake up my friend. Talking of corruption do you that 11 politicians(mayor, and others got arrested in trenton,nj a week back. check this link

http://www.nowpublic.com/breaking-11...cians-arrested

Water and food: do you know that there is mandatory water conserve in effect in California.

Every country has its good and bad things to talk about. It is just how we percieve things. Corruption in US is also deep rooted and it is just that it don't come in news as much as Paris Hilton got drunk, Lindsay Lohan using drugs, Brittney pathetic mtv performance.Back in our country(india) we are obssessed with the other kind of news.

Please think twice before your speak out and / or post.

I worked in India in one of the so called Biggest Outsourcing companies....They want young blood to suck...thats why they go to college and recruit college passed outs...
when i was in india.. i never seen the sunset from my house...here i leave at 5:00 PM have descent life...

Project managers there run behind girls and recognize only the resource who cringe and crawl the foot for promotion and salary rise [2%]...I don't even dislike.... I hate that work culture...
Though i'm working for desi consultancy company here ...he do his duty correctly [Floating my resume in the market after each project]...and i'm happy in that way...

Yes! We are happy here, we are new Americans, and that is why we are going to Washington, to ask that the broken visa system be fixed so that it doesn't kick us out from the country we love and we contribute to!

Default "Indian IT professionals in US returning to homeland"

http://www.hindu.com/thehindu/holnus...0709120302.htm

Chennai, Sept. 12 (PTI): With India becoming a favoured destination of several multinational companies, thousands of Indian IT professionals in the United States are returning to their homeland with good pay packets, according to a survey.

The survey, conducted by Indus Entrepreneurs, an association of Indian IT professionals settled in the US, found that around 60,000 professionals have returned to India in recent years, Michael M Bala, business head of recruitment portal clickjobs.com, said.

Several couples in age group of 27 to 35 were looking forward to coming back to India, he said, quoting the survey.

"Most young Indian couples preferred to return to India to protect their kids from the western culture and to educate them in Indian atmosphere," he said.

Infrastructure development and job opportunities at the more or less same salary in India were cited as the factors behind the trend.

I'm sorry guys, if my blog hurts your feelings...all the fingers are not same...
My experience in India is really bad...
1) House taken over by the tenant who lived there for 5 years and he claims that it belongs to him...the case is in court..I'm sure my grandson would win...
2) Seen Police, Gundas asking money on Independence day
3) Seen careless lecturers correction[University exams] ...self centeric people...
4) There is nothing as painful as seen your deteriorating and you can help it...
5) Given most of flesh and blood, hair for Corporate Outsourcing companies...

Lastly..could any of you guys name one Sector which is good without corrution...

i can show many sectors here...

Sorry again..
