Default Stop converting to EB2 categories

I don't want to offend anyone but for equal fairness I think USCIS should stop converting or upgrading other categories to EB2 as ppl who had filed in this category are getting effected.

All this new bulletin has done for me has further strengthened my resolve to use AC21 and switch jobs if I can find a better one .... No point hunkering down and not using the few benefits that we have been able to secure upto this point .... Get ready for a very long wait ..........

no offense to you too dude..given the current situation, may be they should not allow people to convert from eb2 to eb3 also.. , if you are not used to having "U" in EB2 , welcome to retrogression, we eb3 folks are used to that..

Attended DC Rally and contributed to IV many times.
Renewed EAD 3 times and AP 4 times
Total cost from the H1 days (new h1, extension, ead, ap, 140, 485 etc - $22000)
Total cost if I had bought a labor certification those days and having a GC by now - $15000
Not knowing if GC is this worth - Priceless.

Dudes,
The VB is a lottery wher you get a chance once a year watch next few months and you will see dates swing forward in Jul or so and if you are lucky your name will be drawn by USCIS for GC. I have no faith in USCIS whatsoever and thus U or retrogress does not make me nervous or sad.
Just chill and enjoy life.

However, AOS applications already submitted will continue to be processed - albeit slowly. I was under the impression of what you implied in your post as well - that they aren't adjudicating any India-EB2 applications - but that is incorrect.

Anyways, I actually take it to be a good sign only because they're working through applications already filed and adjudicating on them.

Hope this information proves helpful and I apologize if I'm posting this to the wrong forum.

Sincerely,
Sweta.
Agree with you. Lot of people think that way whereas truth is that they continue to process the cases in pipeline while not accepting any new cases.

Default It is Just HORRIBLE.

For EB3 it is moving by days..

JANUARY 2008 01MAY01
FEBRUARY 2008 08MAY01

Dont know if they will start moving by Hrs of I485 application Received Date and Time.

It is very sad and depressing to me ( I know no one can help me on this ) by seeing others with PD of 2003's and 2004's with more of RD's Dates got approved in month of July / Aug 07.

In the whole chain of process there is lot uncertanity and no First In First Out at every each step / process

where is the justice ? on this ? and justice is a word which exists only in the dictionary, not in reality.

I will plan to file WOM asking for Justice I wont ask them to Approve but I will ask them is it correct what they are doing.

It is Just HORRIBLE.

Default EB2 dates = DOB!!

Looks like at this point USCIS primary goal is to have EB2 PD dates for India to match with our Date Of Birth dates . This is a perfect example on how things can change from worst to hopeless..

what in the world is going on, very disappointed with this visa bulletin. I guess now one less to worry and don't have to wait for these monthly bulletins anymore.

Default The need of the hour

is to get the current campaign for the administrative fixes, to the success stage.

Please lend your hand to make it a success.

I remember seeing waldenpond saying "ALL HANDS ON DECK" for this campaign.

So I request everyone to channel their frustrations toward making the administrative fixes a definite occurrence in the history of legal immigration.

Unfortunately, EB3 ROW is also heavily retrogressed as well, and any unused EB1/EB2 visas will first trickle down to EB3 before they go to EB2 India...

What does EB3 ROW mean (as opposed to just EB3)?

correct. eb1 and eb2 row unused visas will first go to eb3 row but unused eb1 india unused visas will go to eb2 india. i dont expect in filtering of unused eb row visas to come to india though that has happened many years in the past.
