DOS is waiting for USCIS to approve I-485 for the DB Admin they filed in back in 1996(Future employee to join) and USCIS is waiting for DOS to release visa number for him. Once he gets his GC and joins DOS, then the Databases will be merged and you get stable VBs after that.

It requires a system intervention (aka legislation) to resolve that deadlock.

Thanks folks,

This thread is not only for predictions but if anyone comes to know about the Dec 2008 bulletin being put on any consulates abroad or being updated in the DOL phone number - 202-663-1541, please do post, so that we all come to know.

Let us hope something will improve for us.

I really hope that they move forward dates only in small enough increments (4 months or so) to just sufficiently satisfy quota & not much more forward. That way...the older priority dates get out of the system. otherwise they might be stuck forever.

I see no EB3 approvals...so probably a huge enough jump.

Unless there is any new legislation, EB2 India (& China) have to get cleared first before spillover benefits EB3 India (& China) hugely. EB3 ROW becoming current also helps EB3 India.

Good luck to us.

Dec VB might not get some good news for us, but i think Jan VB should have some good news as its the end of 1st quarter and might have some visa numbers flow from EB2 ROW. Remember horizontal flow of numbers.

Default Why are we even predicting!!

I thought there was not going to be any forward movement untill last fiscal quarter of 2009 unless there is a favorable lesistlation passed in congress and senate. One good news is that I recently read that there will be a lame duck session after the election.

Dont believe in lame duck session - the name itself proves its of no use
